Two new Cadet Warrant Officers at Corby Air Cadets
Congratulations to our two newest Cadet Warrant Officers from 422 (Corby) Squadron, following successful interview with Wing Commander Wilson.
The first cadet promoted is Cadet Warrant Officer King, who on the Squadron looks after the Blue and Bronze Progressive Training syllabus. She commented “RAFAC has been a large part of my life for the past 5 years and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities it has given me and for the individuals that have supported me throughout this journey.
“My time within the organisation has allowed me to gain skills in communication and leadership, qualities that have helped within the corps and outside, with some of the highlights of my career being RAF Waddington summer camp and the DTC(I) course.
“I feel immensely privileged to be appointed the role of CWO, and I look forward to assisting cadets in my own unit and in the wider wing with their development and journey over the coming years.”
The second cadet promoted is Cadet Warrant Officer Vyse, who has a keen interest in first aid training having successfully completed the Gold First Aid Course earlier this year. On being promoted she said “I am so proud to finally have achieved my younger self’s dream and I am looking forward to helping the future generations achieve theirs.”
